Youth Parliamentary and Good Governance Leadership to cultivate youth leadership
Youth Leadership
The Youth Parliamentary and Good Governance Leadership project was a two phase project funded by the Foundation for Civil Society. It aimed to cultivate youth leadership and educate 600,000 Tanzanian youth on the conduct of the national assembly. To date, the project has educated 2,600 youth in phase 1 and 500 youth leaders in phase 2 on the roles and functions of Parliament and local councils.The project supported young people with disabilities, people living with HIV/AIDS, and other marginalized youth to increase their participation and representation in government.
