"Thanks TAYOA for the Timiza Malengo project, I have learned a lot and I will continue to provide education and reporting cases of violence occurring in my community to the relevant authorities.” "I came to realize I was raped with no action taken by my parents. The society was treating me unfair especially at school when my fellow student heard the story of being raped they were laughing at me, I had the feeling of leaving the village and going far away running from the scandal.” <br>

“I manage to reach form four education and fail to continue with my study even though I was so interested in continuing with studies but because of my family situation they could not manage to pay for my school fees. Since dropping out of school, I started involving myself in the agriculture in my father’s farm and then I was provided with my own portion of land for cultivating.” “The program trained us on providing health education and it was required us to train our fellow adolescence young women and girls (AGYW). This training was conducted in Mahenge. My fellow AGYW enjoy the education and knowledge that I was providing them. Many girls said the knowledge is helpful and it opens their mind and provides them with a new fresh way of living. We trained each other in various topics such as entrepreneurship skills, health education, and gender-based violence.” “The training was conducted for 12 days, I was so happy being a part of this training, I said to myself even if I will not receive the seed money, the education itself on how to write my own business plan could enable me to start my business. I thank God that after the training they told us that we will be provided with a seed money depending on your business idea that you have written.” “I manage to sell some pigs (with a proceeds of TZS 150,000) that helping me in my farming process now I harvest rice with 5 bags and still helping my father in harvest process in their farms too”. “In future I planned to continue with my business by selling some of these pigs and open up a shop that I will sell various commodities including grains”.
