The main objective of the orientation was to equip the extension officers (PAA Facilitators) across 11 councils on the basic skills in Economic activities and then after they were involved in training program beneficiaries (out of school AGYW) to change their mind set, generate business idea, prepare simplified business Plan, implement and sustain their Income Generating
Activities as new Entrepreneur in Villages.
The training focus mainly on creating awareness on the;
Basic skills in Economic activities Providing an overview of the grant that will be given to each beneficiary to Implement its business plan
Helping the extension officers to understand the concept of coaching and mentoring and steps to be followed during its implementation
Groups formation process Helping the TOTs to understand the Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of different Interventions on web and App system that captured the beneficiaries status and fund requesting process.
The training was facilitated by selected and qualified National facilitators who have good experience in facilitating extension officers and district TOT on Livelihood education using TASAF manual.
